In addition to its two most distinctive programs—the Veterans’ Ministry and the House of Opportunity—the social ministry branch of HOPE FOR CROATIA has been actively involved in several other social initiatives. These efforts include occasional assistance to people with disabilities, providing some aid to the victims of the 2020 Croatian earthquakes, and facilitating Ukrainian refugees.
The ministry’s commitment is demonstrated through tangible, personal sacrifice. For instance, the church where Vlado is a pastor sheltered one such family for a year, while another Ukrainian family has been still residing in his own home since the start of the war in 2022. These examples clearly illustrate that the ministry is dedicated not just to programs, but to active, compassionate care.
