When Vlado first dedicated his life to Christ, there was no evangelical church in his hometown. He has been continually grateful to the Lord, not just for the many opportunities given to witness to his neighbors, but also for the ultimate blessing of planting the church. Among all the ministries the Lord has blessed him to serve in following His call, pastoring this small Baptist church in his hometown still holds a special place in his heart.
The Baptist church in Mursko Središće gathers individuals who find their inspiration and salvation in the person and work of Jesus Christ. It derives its spiritual authority and guiding mission from the Bible, God’s inerrant Word, seeking to emulate the faithfulness and dedication of the early Christian church. It strives to be a spiritual home for everyone who accepts Jesus as the comprehensive answer to life’s most profound questions. Within its pleasant building, the church inspires many toward a life dedicated to eternal values. Pastor Vlado Hoblaj was involved in the initial planting of the church and has been faithfully serving the congregation since its beginning in the 1990s.
